First aid on Good Deeds Day 2024

•24 hours devoted to social engagement: that is the spirit of Good Deeds Day, initiated by Coop. On 6 May 2023, the whole of Switzerland should be inspired to do good deeds. Why not help out, for example by taking a free first aid course?
Good deeds bring joy and have the power to make life a little better. On the initiative of the Coop, the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) and other partners are organizing various activities on Good Deeds Day. Anyone can take part. Our goal is to join forces and get Switzerland to do some good deeds.
Are you prepared to save lives?
Knowing how to give first aid is also a good deed and can even mean the difference between life and death. Half of the population lack confidence in emergency situations when they need to provide first aid, according to a study commissioned by the Swiss Red Cross and Helsana. So, for the first time, the SRC and Swiss Samaritans are organizing first aid courses on this year’s Good Deeds Day. The courses enable you to brush up your knowledge or learn new techniques.
