What you will be doing
- Facilitate SRCs strategic partnership with the Honduran Red Cross (HRC) and support the partner in its organizational development
- Manage SRCs Technical Resilience Office in Honduras, accompany and support technically our Sister National Societies in El Salvador and Honduras in Resilience programming
- Assure adherence to SRC subregional programme 2025-28 including close collaboration with SRCs Technical Migration Office in El Salvador
- Accompany HRC in the construction of its new blood bank in Tegucigalpa
- Represent SRC at country and IFRC cluster level (Central America)
- Tight and proactive cooperation with RC/RC Movement components and key stakeholders
- Explore opportunities for partnering up within the region
- Responsible for security monitoring and management
- Provide regular updates on partnership dialogue, technical support in Resilience, context development, accountability and monitoring to SRC HQ and partners/donors
Your profile
- University degree in a relevant field, preferably Resilience related technical background
- Minimum of 5 years of international cooperation working experience as a manager, within the RC/RC Movement is an asset
- Professional expertise / practitioner in Resilience programming
- Professional experience in construction projects and/or emergency response is an asset
- Demonstrated experience in partner strengthening and leadership as well as project cycle, finance and security management
- Sound analytical capacity, team spirit, strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient command in Spanish and English (both oral and written)
