What you will be doing
- Provide strategic, conceptual and technical support to URCS in the implementation of its Home-Based Care & Active Ageing (HBC/AA) strategy and program
- Support URCS in improving the quality of HBC social services
- Support URCS in developing its HBC financial sustainability model with particular emphasis on outsourcing relationships with central and local public administrations.
- Support URCS in lobbying and advocacy with the Ministry of Social Policy
- Provide strategic guidance on the promotion and implementation of active aging
- Support the URCS in the coordination of HBC activities and interventions within the Red Cross Movement and with external stakeholders (authorities, IOs, NGOs, donor agencies)
Your profile
- University degree in management, health and care, social work, social sciences or other relevant discipline with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the coordination and management of health and care programmes and partnerships or international cooperation
- Analytical and strategic thinking, facilitation and participatory management skills
- Diplomacy, sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing work environment
- Experience with locally-led action and capacity strengthening of national/local partners
- Experience in working in the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement
- Proficient written and spoken English; knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian language is an asset
